"Suicide is not something that happens to somebody else.
The effects ripple like a wave throughout the victim's network of family, friends and colleagues." Dr. Ilene Dode, CEO, Suicide Prevention Center Support groups are available for family members and friends recovering from the death by suicide of someone close. Any survivor is encouraged to attend. The groups are not designed for suicidal persons. New survivors are encouraged to call ahead and arrange to meet with the facilitator(s) prior to their first session.
